The LA12X relies on a proprietary switch mode power supply (SMPS) equipped with a DSP-controlled PFC, capable of delivering 12,000 W regardless of mains voltages (from 240 V down to 100 V).

The LA8 amplified controller belongs to the generation of high-end integrated controllers entirely dedicated to the comprehensive operation of L-ACOUSTICS® loudspeaker systems. Due to the 5x5 arrangement of the 25 lenses an unlimited amount of matrix effects, letters, and numbers can be produced, and each of the 25 3W LEDs can be individually controlled via DMX 512. Also included are some great internal automatic programs, which are also available in master/slave mode (1 x 1, 1 x 2, or 2 x 2 devices). All effects can be triggered by sound to light.
